CESA and FC Phoenix Join Forces The Columbus East Soccer Association and the FC Phoenix Soccer Club have reached agreement to combine their resources to form a new alliance called, CESA FC Phoenix. Beginning this spring, all games will be played at The Value City Furniture Fields at Easton. The new alliance was forged this winter with the basic objective of enriching both the CESA recreational program and the FC Phoenix select program.
“We are extremely excited about the potential impact this partnership can have on improving and expanding the soccer experiences of players at all ages.”, stated Herb Bresler, CESA Board President. According to James Field, Director of Coaching, “This alliance will strengthen two organizations already noted for their superior service to youth soccer and offers us the opportunity to offer quality soccer programs to more communities on the east and south sides of Columbus.

The heart and soul of the League. Without the sacrifice of their time and efforts, where would we be? Better yet, where would our kids be? Probably on the couch, and we surely don’t want that. Next time you see a coach, give em a hug…and a helping hand. Don’t know the game? It’s a great way to learn. Don’t have time during the week? Help out at the games. Work odd hours? Pitch in with the administrative stuff: organizing, phone calling, etc. It really can be a rewarding experience. Without all of these tasks getting done, there would be no league! |
